It is said that when the world was first formed as a single landmass surrounded by
void, Thalarn struck the earth with his mighty trident, creating the first seas and
oceans. He then launched the Leviathan's Spire from the highest mountain, establishing
the eternal voyage that would inspire all future exploration and discovery.
During the Age of Mists, when supernatural fog covered all the seas and countless
ships were lost forever, Thalarn himself sailed the mortal oceans for a year and
a day, his divine beacon cutting through the darkness. The Lighthouse Eternal that
still guides ships on the most dangerous routes was built where he made his final landfall.
Ancient texts speak of a time when Thalarn will embark on one last, greatest voyage
to chart the ultimate destination beyond all known realms. Some believe this refers
to the discovery of a new plane of existence, while others think it speaks of guiding
all souls to their final, perfect rest at the end of time.
With the recent expansion of maritime trade between distant kingdoms and the discovery
of new island chains rich in exotic resources - establishment of new shipping routes,
construction of advanced harbor facilities, and reports of mysterious lights seen far
out at sea - many faithful believe Thalarn is opening new paths for unprecedented
exploration and prosperity. Prayers for his guidance have increased, and several
navigators claim to have received visions of uncharted lands waiting to be discovered.
