The party investigated Malachi's ransacked home, discovering mysterious puddles of seawater and
signs of his missing family. After seeking holy aid from the local church, they returned to
the Lyssaria festival where celebration turned to danger as they encountered more dark forces
and faced infernal ghouls in a back alley confrontation.

The party went to Malachi's house to search for clues about his missing family. They found
the front windows smashed in, the house completely ransacked, and the family nowhere to be found.
Most mysteriously, they discovered puddles of seawater throughout the home.
Both Jester and Hank took turns staring into the mysterious puddles of seawater. Initially
they only saw their reflections, but gradually began to feel a sense of dread and the
unsettling feeling of being watched by something unseen.
Nibbles felt a divine compulsion to "cleanse the darkness" and dropped some holy water into
one of the puddles. The holy water set the puddle alight, burning away the dark presence
and destroying the mysterious seawater.
The party went to a local church to seek answers about any infernal presence in the town.
The father claimed no knowledge of infernal incursions but seemed deeply disturbed by the
possibility. He provided the party with holy water to help their cause before they retired
to sleep in their wagon.
Jester woke early to retrieve fresh hot bread from a local bakery called 'The Cake and Bake',
waking everyone up with the beautiful aroma. The party then made their way to the town center
where revelers were starting early, getting their party on for another day of festival.
At the festival, they met Neldan again - the large Tiefling party-goer who had saved Nibbles
the day before from being trampled in the crowd. Neldan took Nibbles onto his shoulders, gave
him a pill, and they absolutely raged in the mosh pit to the music on stage while Hank worked
the crowd for pickpocketing opportunities and Jester simply enjoyed the music.
While partying, Nibbles spotted what appeared to be a humanoid being surrounded in smoke
leaving by the side of the stage. He got Neldan to carry him toward where he saw this mysterious
being, leading to another dangerous encounter.
Nibbles went under the stage to give chase to the smoky figure and was bagged again by
something unseen. He had his dagger ready and cut through the bag, damaging the creature
in the process. The wounded being fled as Jester came around the corner to find Nibbles.
Using Neldan for height advantage, Jester spotted Hank stealing from festival-goers across
the crowd. Jester then messaged someone that Hank had stolen from, who broke the canister
Hank had taken, releasing something that paralyzed Hank and dragged him away to an alley.
The party, with Neldan's help, gave chase to the alley where they found Hank and engaged
in combat with infernal ghouls that had been lurking in the shadows.
